Broom Remains A Spitfire For At Least Another Month

By Steve Whitney

Eastleigh have announced that Welsh midfielder Ryan Broom has extended his loan with the Spitfires by a month.

Broom, who joined from SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers in January, has scored 3 goals for Eastleigh in five appearances so far, including brace away at AFC Fylde.

Speaking to the club`s official website after signing his extension, Broom was delighted to resign for Andy Hessenthaler’s side: “I’m really pleased to have signed for another month and I’m looking forward to the upcoming games. Hopefully, as a team we can have a couple of positives results.

“It’s not been a perfect month, but you get those spells in football, and I’ve got the belief we can turn it around.”

Broom will be eligible for selection when the Spitfires travel to Barrow AFC this weekend – weather permitting of course!
