Bromley Get Busy Again As Cheek Agrees Deal

Bromley have continued their busy start to the summer by adding Ebbsfleet United striker Michael Cheek to their squad.

The 27-year-old former Dagenham forward arrives after an excellent season which saw him score 16 National League goals.

It’s another good signing after Neil Smith persuaded Maidenhead’s Adrian Clifton to sign on.

The manager said: “Michael is a proven goalscorer in this division and has established himself over several seasons.

“To get someone of his quality into our side for next season is massive for us as a club, and it shows where we want to go.”

The club have seen a number of players leave in the first few days of the close season.

Popular David Gregory and Richard Brindley won’t be at Hayes Lane next season.

Joe Quigley, Kyle De Silva and Reece Meekums are also all looking for next clubs.

But George Porter is staying - and so is defended Jake Goodman and winger Adam Mekki.
