Striker Brodie has been brought in by Liam McDonald as the Moors look to climb the Vanarama National League table, writes Tom Feaheny.
Brodie had scored in his last two games for his previous side Evo-Stik North Skelmersdale United.
Speaking about the move McDonald told the Moors website that his know-how will be vital.
“Richard will add great experience to our squad and bring something that we’ve been missing. He’s a striker with a vast amount of experience and a prolific goalscorer who’s at the right age," said the manager.
“Players like that are not easy to find so I’m delighted we’ve been able to work something out to get him at Solihull Moors. He looked fit and sharp in training last night."
The 30 year-old has already played for a number of Vanarama National League sides already including Gateshead, Aldershot Town and Macclesfield Town.
He started last season returning to York City before having spells at the Silkmen, Boston United and Southport.
Joining him is Barnet left-back Joe Payne who also arrives at the Automated Technologies Stadium from the League Two side on a months loan.
