The Bees boss gave a passionate interview following Tuesday night’s late victory over Altrincham.
He unloaded after accusing some supporters of constant negativity and didn’t hold back in his angry rant.
Barnet have begun the new season brightly, winning five of their first eight matches. No side has scored more goals in the National League.
But the boss demanded more togetherness after taking a swipe as some continue to stay away - and he isn’t happy about what he has been hearing at the Hive from some of those who do attend.
The Irishman said: “If they don’t like it, I’ll move on. Simple as that. Get behind the group. If you’re going to be negative, go off somewhere else and be negative. This is how I really feel. I don’t pull no punches.
“We have got young lads who read the social media (comments). I don’t read it. When you are in tough times you see real characters, real people. I want character and I want our fans to come with us.
“Altrincham scored a good goal and all I hear is moaning in my ear. Have a look where you are, there are an awful lot of teams below us.I am very very angry and frustrated. If any fans want to come and see me, my door is open. We’ll have a cuppa and I’ll explain a few things to them.
“I want us to be a proper football club. All I ever hear is moaning. Moaning about the players, moaning about the chairman.
“The beer’s not good enough, this isn’t good enough or that’s not good enough. There were only 900 fans here tonight. It was announced as 1,200 but there were 900. Yeah, we’re a big club aren’t we?
“It would get another centre-forward if we got more. It would help if people bought some tickets, or some sweets or some beer that’s not good enough.
“But we have to rely on Tony, spending his grandchildren’s money. All I want is togetherness.”
He hopes the atmosphere improves this weekend as Barnet have a home game with Braintree Town on Saturday.
