The Hawks boss was linked with the vacancy following Matthew Bates’ departure and the club confirmed talks had taken place.
But despite the speculation, he remained on the south coast and reaffirmed his full committed to the club.
Richard Money eventually got the job and takes charge of his first National League game on Saturday.
Bradbury has spoken with the Portsmouth News ahead of the trip and says nothing is any different.
“My focus is the same as it is for every league game and that is preparing the Hawks to pick up three points,” he told them.
“That won't change all the time that I am manager at the club.
“Just because I didn’t get the job doesn't give it any added spice,” added the manager, who has been in charge for six season, winning back-to-back league titles.
“The fact the game is against Hartlepool makes no difference whatsoever.”
