Bradbury: Hawks Should Have Won At Concord

Havant & Waterlooville should have kept their winning away form going at Concord Rangers.

That was the post match view of the Hawks manager Lee Bradbury following the 1-1 draw at the Aspect Arena.

Havant have been excellent on their travels but their form at home is what’s stopped the club sitting at the top of the Vanarama National League South.

Bradbury spoke to the Portsmouth News after they took a point from their game in Essex - and said it really should have been all three.

“We didn’t get what we deserved out of the game,” said the Hawks boss.

“It was a good, strong hard working performance and we deserved to win the match.

“There wasn’t a great deal of quality but both teams worked hard in the wind on a hard bouncy pitch.

“It is still a good point and keeps up our excellent record away from home.”

The draw leaves Havant in 7th place but Concord are still second from bottom.
