Bradbury: Hawks Are Settling Well In National League

Havant and Waterlooville manager Lee Bradbury thinks his side are getting the hang of things in the National League, writes Tom Scott.

Bradbury’s men drew 1-1 with another newly promoted side in Salford City after being pegged back following Alfie Pavey’s opener.

Speaking to the club’s website after the game, Bradbury said he thought his side could’ve taken more from the game.

“We’re slowly getting used to the level,” he said. “I feel with a little bit more luck today we could’ve won the game.”

“It was one of those games where we needed a bit of pace up top against their three big lads at the back.

“I thought Alfie (Rutherford) came on and caused them a few problems with his pace,” he added.

The Hawks are now two games unbeaten in Step One but the games come thick and fast through August and they travel to Bromley on Monday.
