Brackley Bring in Two

Defender Liam Marsden has signed for Vanarama National League North club Brackley Town...

...on a month`s loan from Sky Bet League Two side Mansfield Town.

Marsden is an exciting young full-back who graduated from the Stags` youth set-up.

The full-back has found first-team opportunities limited this season and has linked up with the Northamptonshire side until March 1st in the search for regular football.

Marsden has made one appearance for the Stags this season in the 2-1 defeat to Notts County in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in September last year.

The 21-year-old previously spent time on loan with Brackley`s league rivals Guiseley AFC this season.

Brackley boss Kevin Wiklin moved after Aidan Hawtin had been recalled from his loan by Oxford United.

Meanwhile, Joe Clarke has signed a deal with Brackley until the end of the season after being released by National League side Kidderminster Harriers.

The former Wrexham and Darlington player had spent a good part of this season on loan at St James`s Park.
