Brackley Boss Wilkin: FA Trophy Display Significant

Kevin Wilkin believes a win against the team above them in the cup competition is something they can use for their league ambitions.

A 4-0 victory against the side above them Salford City, included a hat-trick from Aaron Williams, writes Tom Feaheny.

“We passed the ball well and in the end it was a good win. The fourth goal showed great touch, movement, passing and real quality and capped a strong display, this is a win we can use for the league matches,” said Wilkin to the club's website.

“We had terrific runs in both cup competitions last season, we were disappointed to exit the FA Cup this year and will enjoy our time in the Trophy. The manner we went about our game was very good."

"The league is clearly the most important thing for us and our first goal is to make the play-offs, we need now to keep our league campaign on track next Saturday when we play Stockport.”
