Bower Thrilled As Avenue Don't Give Up Play-Off Bid

Bradford Park Avenue boss Mark Bower says his side have done all they can as they enter the final week in the play-off places.

With the side playing more games than Spennymoor Town, they are still relying on other results to ensure it goes down to the final day, writes Tom Feaheny.

They won yesterday with a Yorkshire derby victory against Harrogate Town.

"The energy levels after three games in such a short space of time was really pleasing," Bower told the club's website.

"We have taken it into the last week and that is all I could ask for, when you consider the opposition we have been facing."

Bower says the performance was something that warranted the result.

"We showed real quality throughout and the goals were well taken, a lot of composure was shown and that is what pleased me most.

"The lads can't do anymore, if it goes down to the last day and we've got a chance, we will be up for it."
