Bower Left Speechless As Avenue Gain Play-Off Place

Bradford Park Avenue boss Mark Bower says his side left him lost for words as they reached the play-offs.

A dramatic comeback win against Kidderminster Harriers with Adam Boyes scoring with moments to go ensured a 2-1 win and that they finished 7th, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It is an unbelievable feeling, I'm struggling to sum it up, I'm just so proud," Bower told the club's website.

"We are a part-time team, the league table does not lie, we are one of the seven best teams in this league.

"The lads kept getting back up, when knocked down, we go into the play-offs with no pressure now."

The reward for Avenue is another trip to face Kidderminster on Wednesday night something Bower is looking forward to.

"The experience we have could be key, these lads have been there and done it.

"I think Kidderminster are an outstanding team, they are the team I didn't want us to face if I'm honest, but we will enjoy the game."
