Bower: Avenue Deserved Their Point

Bradford Park Avenue manager Mark Bower says his side earnt theiron point against the top of the table Harrogate Town side.

After falling behind in the first half, Adam Boyes scored to level the scores up at 1-1 and that is how it finished, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I think the lads definitely deserved a point for their efforts," Bower said.

"We could have won it with the chance we had late on.

"I thought for the first half hour they caused us a lot of problems, Ed made some very good saves to keep us in it.

"Once we started to trust each other and pass the ball a bit more, we started to cause them problems."
