Boston New Boy Marriott Makes A Big Imp-Pression!

Boston United’s impressive close season in the transfer mark continues - and his new man made an instant impression.

Manager Craig Elliott completed the signing of in-demand striker Adam Marriott prior to kick-off with Chesterfield this afternoon.

His scored a screamer - putting his new club ahead from 25-yards before the Spireites drew level from Zavon Hines.

That means the Pilgrims have now signed ten new players this summer - and fans are excited about what’s ahead.

The 27-year-old former Lincoln City player, who helped the Imps to the National League title and the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup in 2017, clearly couldn’t wait to get going.

Elliott has had a good few months and many now believe Boston are in their best position yet to push for promotion in the Vanarama National League North.

Nathan Arnold has also signed, as has John McCombe and Dylan Parkin.

Elliott is “delighted” with the way his side are shaping up as Boston gear up for Guiseley on the opening day.
