Boston Bring In Two Loanees Ahead Of Curzon Defeat

Boston United bolstered their squad with a double signing ahead of Saturday’s defeat at Curzon Ashton.

Defender Sam Muggleton from league rivals York City and forward Morgan Penfold from SkyBet League One side Peterborough United both arrived on loan.

Twenty-one-year-old left-sider Muggleton joins the Pilgrims on an initial month’s loan.

The former Gillingham and Barnet player is capable of operating anywhere down the left-hand side.

Eighteen-year-old Peterborough striker Penfold, meanwhile, has linked up with the Pilgrims on a youth loan basis.

He has already spent a successful loan spell with Biggleswade Town this season and scored three times in his month-long stay with the Evo-Stik League South Premier side.

On the outgoings front, striker Tyrell Waite has extended his loan spell into a second month with Evo-Stik League Premier side Matlock Town.
