Poole are four points adrift of safety and have just 11 games left to climb out of the bottom three.
The Dolphins travel to leaders Dartford on Saturday knowing that victories have got to come sooner rather than later.
Poole also face difficult trips to East Thurrock, St Albans and Chelmsford City so home results will be key.
Killick told the Daily Echo: “We need to look at the fact we have 11 fixtures and we probably need to win five of them.
“All we can control is the effort and discipline we put into performances. What needs to be apparent is that anyone watching the game can see from minute one what is at stake for us as a club.
“That is the minimum and, if it really shows we are fighting, that is all you can ask for and, hopefully, it will be enough over this stretch of games.”
