The 27-year-old joined the Exiles in July 2016 on a two-year deal.
He joined having spent the previous season with National League outfit Eastleigh, where he made over forty appearances during the 2015/16 season before coming to the end of his contract.
Turley, began his career at Wycombe Wanderers, before spells in non-League football with Salisbury City and Forest Green Rovers, for whom he made just shy of 100 appearances.
The defender also captained England C to the semi-finals of the International Challenge Trophy in 2013.
On signing, Turley commented: “I am really excited and I am really looking forward to getting going. Boreham Wood are an ambitious club with an ambitious manager and it ticked a lot of boxes for me.
“I believe that I can bring a pace and power and I know the league very well because I have spent a lot of time there.
“I just want to get back out there playing and I can hopefully do well enough to get selected, because I haven’t got a right to go straight into the team.”
“I obviously haven’t trained yet, but this seems like a very good group and if everyone can pull in the same direction then we can have a successful season.
“Having now played in the Football League, it has given me the hunger to get back to the division.
“I have had a taste for it now, I want to be in the Football League. I started the first six or seven games before I needed the operation and now I want to earn a place back in the division”.
