Boot camp behind strong start to season

Lincoln City boss Chris Moyses reckons his Vanarama National League side are made of the right stuff after their midweek victory at Braintree Town.

Moyses, pictured, credits rigorous pre-season team-building exercises for his side's strong start in taking four points from their two outings following the 3-1 victory in Essex on Tuesday night.

Moyses, 49, said: "When we went to the army camp we talked about being robust. We're tough to break down and we're men. It's early days but we know we've got strong characters."

The Imps manager is not getting carried away though and insists his team will remain grounded.

He added: "We've just got to go one game at a time. We're still improving and still knitting together, and we've still got to find a formation that works best for us."
