Boost For National League Clubs As FA Cup TV Picks Made

By Tom Scott

Three Vanarama National League clubs have had some welcome news as the FA Cup first round TV selections are announced.

After some incredible heroics in the fourth qualifying round, there's reward for a handful of our sides after ITV and BBC picked their live offerings.

Tamworth saw off Macclesfield Town at the weekend - and now the Lambs' first round showdown with League One Huddersfield Town will be on BBC Two on Friday 1 November, kick-off at 7.45pm.

Sutton United are another one of our sides who have history in the famous competition - the U's went all the way to the fifth round in 2017 - beating the likes of Leeds United and AFC Wimbledon along the way.

After seeing off Chertsey at the weekend, Steve Morison's side host Birmingham City on Sunday 3 November, live on ITV1 with kick-off coming at 12.30pm.

Like Sutton, Lincoln City know what it's like to go deep into the competition as a National League side - and now a current club of ours hosts the Imps in the first round.

Chesham United's tie with the League One side is now on Monday 4 November, live on ITV4 from 7.15pm.
