Boost For Coasters As Rowe Signs New Deal

AFC Fylde have confirmed that star striker Danny Rowe has signed a new two-year contract at the club with the option of a further year.

The new deal extends Rowe’s stay with the Coasters until 2019 having been at the club since the 2014/15 season.

Since joining Fylde, Rowe has been a goalscoring sensation for the Coasters, scoring at least 31 goals in each of his three seasons at the club so far, including 50 strikes in all competitions as Fylde won the National League North title by six points last term.

The 28-year old is now just 3 goals short of breaking Richie Allen’s all-time scoring record for the Coasters of 119 goals.

Rowe was named National League North player of the season for 2016/17 as well as winning the`golden boot` and being named in the National League North team of the season.

At the 2016/17 end of season awards evening, Rowe rounded off his incredible season as he was also named fans` and players` player of the season and won the club’s goal of the season award.
