The Stones triumphed 3-1 over Bath City to set up a huge clash with title runners-up Woking on Sunday.
Wilkinson said the result left him speechless before insisting his know-how and experience is what gave his side the edge.
"It was brilliant for both teams but there can only be one winner," he told the club's official website.
"These boys don’t know the word defeat and they just keep striving for more success. Today we were colossal on and off the ball. It was just a wonderful game.
"I’m very passionate on the sideline but today I was probably the most relaxed I’ve been because I know what it takes to win these games.
"We played with that little bit of class at time and to score three goals here [Twerton Park], I’m speechless."
It was bittersweet for goalkeeper Jonathan North who had to be stretchered off after a nasty collision.
The stopper has since been released from hospital but Wilkinson was quick to pay tribute to him.
"As you can imagine, we’re all very upset about this situation because he’s been a brilliant goalkeeper and tonight, he was outstanding out there.
"Our thoughts go out to him and his family all the way."
