Bobby: Stones Must Keep On A Roll

Wealdstone are half way through a 48 hour period which their new manager hopes could twist their season.

The Stones grabbed their first under new manager Bobby Wilkinson on Saturday afternoon.

A convincing 3-0 win over Bognor Regis Town brought to an end a bad run of form which has seen the Vanarama National League South club winless since the first day of the season.

Wilkinson wanted six points from Saturday's game - and against Poole Town tonight - to get their season up and running.

Now he wants his team to finish the job this evening.

He said: "It's half a job done because we have another big game on Monday where we need to keeping the wins running.

"The boys have waiting a long time for that second win, it's been a long eight games for everyone involved.

"We targeted a big few days and hopefully we can build on Saturday and win again against Poole.

"Two home games back to back presents us with an opportunity to get six points on the board."

He added: "We played well against Bognor and scored some fantastic goals.

"They have set the standard now. We need to keep producing."
