But the Stones manager still wants his side to play even better!
The 3-0 victory on Saturday he says was easily the highlight of his year in charge.
That came on the back of a 1-0 win over then leaders Woking - which last Monday he also called the best display since he took over.
Now he wants to keep saying that as the club challenge for promotion into the National League South.
“It was as close to a perfect performance as I can remember,” he said.
“In terms of the goals we scored, the attacking play with put together and the way we defended its difficult to ask for much more.
“But me being me I always will ask for more!
“It was a great performance and from start to finish we were fantastic.
“Now it’s about reaching those levels as often as we can and playing even better potentially.
“We have had a very difficult last few fixtures and we have two more over the Bank Holiday weekend.
“We’ll keep going. I can’t praise the players enough for the work rate and how they are approaching every game.”
