Blackpool`s Former Radcliffe Striker Loaned To York

York City have signed striker Raul Correia on loan from SkyBet League One side Blackpool for the remainder of the season.

The 24-year-old Portuguese forward agreed an eighteen-month deal with the Seasiders twelve months ago having arrived for an undisclosed fee from Radcliffe Borough.

Correia struck 11 goals in twenty-two games for the Evo-Stik League North outfit following an earlier spell with York`s league rivals Chorley.

He actually made his Blackpool debut in Wednesday`s EFL Trophy defeat to Shrewsbury Town, while previously including an eleven-game and single-goal loan stay at National League outfit Guiseley AFC.
