Bignot Pleased With Point Ahead Of Busy Week

By Tom Feaheny

Chester boss Marcus Bignot was delighted with what he saw as they gained a point away at Bromley.

Ross Hannah had given them the lead but they conceded soon after, still leaving with a point that moved them up the table by a place, writes Tom Feaheny.

"You look at where Bromley are in the league, our players deserve credit, they have done really well," Bignot told the club's website.

"We knew it was only a matter of time for Ross Hannah to get his goal, they applied pressure on us and we stood up to it.

"If we continue to put in these performances and work hard, we will get what we deserve.

"It's a busy week for us with this game, then Leyton Orient then the TV game, we can only be proud with the players missing, the squad have shown such a fight in this first match out of the three."
