The strugglers come together at Nethermoor with a lot a stake.
These are the two side’s sitting just outside the bottom three in the National League North - and both don’t want to be looking over their shoulders.
Bignot is aware of the size of the game and has told his players they need a performance.
A home win will see his team move eight points away from the drop zone - but he knows Hereford will be up for it too.
Joint boss Bignot told the club’s website: “Tuesday night is certainly a crunch fixture, we were mindful of that on Saturday.
“Tuesday night is important, it is an opportunity to bounce back from defeat at Chorley on Saturday and I am looking forward to see how the lads respond.”
On that loss at the leaders, he said: “We came in at half-time and spoke about the first half and the positive was the 1-0 scoreline, we were still in the game.
“To concede so early on was a blow, it was a very good goal from them and then the game ran away from us.
“If we can learn from the defeat we will be better for it.”
