Bignot: Hard Work Means Deserved Victory

Chester boss Marcus Bignot says his side have to now build on defeating Ebbsfleet United.

A 1-0 win means Chester are six points off safety but with two games in hand on some sides above them after Harry White scored the winner, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We have worked really hard for that, we turned up and we got our rewards," Bignot told the club's website

"Harry White has scored a good goal, we know what he can do, getting that 90 minutes under his belt was crucial for him.

"Ebbsfleet threw extra bodies at us, but we stood up to it, they had nothing to lose, so it was crucial that we could hold out.

"There is accountability for us all, now Tuesday against Fylde is crucial we know we need to keep picking up the results."
