Big Triple Deal For Salford As New Boss Alexander Gets Busy!

Salford City have made a sensational triple swoop as they gear up for next season.

New manager Graham Alexander has acted past three bring in two top signings weeks after the season ended.

The Ammies have added Fleetwood defender Nathan Pond, a regular in League One last season with the boss’ former club.

Their latest deal confirmed at 5pm was for FC United of Manchester's Kieran Glynn, the all-action midfielder.

They have also signed Macclesfield Town midfielder Danny Whitehead.

After signing, Whitehead told the club’s website: “I met the people around the club and can see that the ambition is massive here. It’s something I’m really looking forward to being a part of”.

“It’s going to be a massive season – the club is aiming for another promotion. I’m looking forward to meeting all the fans – I’m sure they’ll be behind us all the way.”
