Big News For Clubs As First Round Ties Picked For Live TV

It’s great news for National League clubs with some of the FA Cup first round fixtures selected for live television.

In a huge financial boost to our sides, the cameras are heading down for the ties early next month - bringing with the super exposure as well as a large broadcast fee.

Bromley’s home game with 1953 winners Blackpool has been picked as Andy Woodman’s team look to keep their fantastic season going with a big scalp.

The game will be broadcast on Saturday November 4 at 5.45pm on BBC 2.

The top of League One vs top of the National League meeting is also chosen - Portsmouth head to Chesterfield and it is live on ITV1 on Sunday November 5.

Winners of the first round ties this year earn £41,000.
