Big Boost For National League Clubs As TV Picks Made

After fantastic first round heroics, there’s just reward for our sides after the broadcaster’s picks were announced this afternoon.

King’s Lynn Town sent Doncaster Rovers packing at the weekend - and now their second round tie with Stevenage will be live on BBC One, kick-off 12.45pm on Saturday November 26.

Ebbsfleet United caused an upset by getting one over FC Halifax Town - and now Fleetwood Town’s visit will be on ITV on the Sunday, kick-off 12.30pm.

If Torquay United can overcome Derby County then their trip to Newport County will also go ahead on the same day, kick-off 3.15pm. That match will be on ITV too.

The Gulls’ replay at Pride Park will also be live next week after the first game ended 2-2.

It is welcome news for clubs - the live broadcast fees of £60,000 will be distributed in addition to any payments from the competition’s prize fund.
