The 19-year-old had been training with the Blues squad this week and manager Steve Burr hopes the forward will be available to face Braintree Town this weekend.
Bell progressed through Rochdale's successful academy and signed his first professional contract at Spotland in the summer.

Bell had featured three times for Dale's first-team and had a spell on loan at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North outfit Droylsden earlier this season.
