Being Easy On The Eye Isn't All That For Bucks' Boss Cowan

Football fans will only ever remember the winning feeling, not the performance.

That's the view of AFC Telford United manager Gavin Cowan - who have conceded ten goals in their last four outings.

And Cowan admits that if his side can keep gaining points, he hasn't got any qualms about how they do it.

"Many weeks have gone by and have asked the lads that even if we’re not going to play well at times, we’ve got to grind out results," he said in an interview with the Shropshire Star.
"Although I think we played really well in huge parts (against Ashton on Tuesday), the times that we didn’t, we ground it out.

"That’s all you can ask for as a manager," he continued. "No-one will remember the performance, but they’ll remember the three points."

The Bucks are gearing up for a huge test on Saturday - they face Solihull Moors in the FA Trophy quarter-final.
