Stand in boss Currie takes his side to South Yorkshire to face Sheffield United in the Third Round on Sunday.
Despite drawing with Boreham Wood last time out, Currie wants his side to show the same attitude when they face the Blades.
"Our performance [against Boreham Wood] was that next step in the right direction," he told the club's video service.
"We had so much confidence on the ball, some real belief and some good attacking play.
"The more I give these boys the license to pass the ball and play with a bit of freedom, the more we'll excite the fans.
"I've said to the players that when we turn up at Bramall Lane on Sunday that they show the same level of bravery and confidence.
"We'll go there and attack the game as best we can and see how we turn up."
