The former England captain - a big part of the Class of 92 - has invested alongside his former Manchester United team-mates.
Beckham joins Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, and Gary and Phil Neville at the Peninsular Stadium - with Paul Scholes stepping down as a director due to him taking over at Oldham Athletic last week.
The 43-year-old will watch their home match with Dover Athletic, the club have today confirmed, two weeks after the weather put paid to his planned first visit against against Maidstone United.
“When the lads got involved in Salford City five years ago I was trying to get the team in Miami going," Beckham said when he bought into the club.
“Now that is on its way I am now able to get involved. It’s a special group of people.
“To be involved in this now is very exciting and I can't wait to see the team in action.
"Salford is where I grew up really. It's going to be a proud moment when we're all sat together watching our team."
