Beadle’s About Again As Barnet Appoint New Manager Peter

Peter Beadle has been picked to replace Darren Currie at Barnet.

The Bees have made a quick appointment after parting ways with their manager just over a week ago.

Beadle played for the club at Underhill in 2003 before turning his attention to management.

He took over at Taunton Town and then Newport County before taking the job at Clevedon.

But the 48-year-old is best remembered for three fantastic years at born-again Hereford - leading the Bulls charge back to the National League North with title wins in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Beadle has a big job on with Barnet losing a number of key players already this summer.

They outlined in a recent statement that the Covid-19 pandemic has had a "particularly severe impact" on the club.

Beadle is already turning his attention to putting out a team the fans can be proud of next season.

He officially gets down to work on Monday and will discuss his appointment more, the club have announced.
