Battling Bucks Show They're Up For The Relegation Fight

Rob Edwards reckons his AFC Telford United team have shown their commitment to keeping the club in the National League North.

The Bucks picked up a “valuable point” against Darlington on Saturday and they are now just a point from safety.

They’ve still got games in hand over their rivals and Edwards was full of praise for the application his side showed at the New Bucks Head with trips to Bradford Park Avenue and Blyth Spartans next up.

“Any point in this League is well earned,” boss Edwards told the club’s YouTube channel.

“Everybody here saw a team that is committed to the club and I was delighted with the players - they did everything apart from put the ball in the net.

“The team are doing exactly what we’re asking of them. We all want to see players who are fighting for the club and each other.

“You could see from the reaction at the end that the lads had given everything. It was a valuable point and now we’ve got to build on it.”
