Barrington Earns Margate Deal

Vanarama National League South club Margate have announced the signing of striker Marcel Barrington on a one-year deal.

Twenty-year-old Barrington has impressed manager Nikki Bull this summer by scoring 5 goals, including a hat-trick in the club`s 7-1 win over Herne Bay.

The Guyana international started his career with Stoke City before joining Leicester City in 2014.

Barrington spent time on loan at Nuneaton Town and Bishop`s Stortford before being released by last season’s Premier League champions.

Upon his release, Barrington spent time at Ryman League Division One South side Walton Casuals before ending last season with Casuals` league rivals Tooting & Mitcham.
