Barnet Add A Keeper Ahead Of FA Cup Test

Barnet have signed a new goalkeeper - and he could be in line to make his debut in the FA Cup against Brentford.

Leeds United stopper Will Huffer is new manager Darren Currie’s first signing.

Number one Mark Cousins was red carded against Braintree last weekend - and the Bees have acted to ensure they are well covered.

The 20-year-old has already played in the Championship this season, appearing in the 2-0 win over Bristol City.

Currie told the club’s website: "I'd like to welcome Will to our club and our group of players, he is a young man that comes recommended from a number of people that we have spoken to in the game.

"England representatives speak very highly of Will so he will be a terrific addition to the team, I'm delighted to have him on board."

Huffer said: "I'm really excited to get going. All the lads have welcomed me into the group, they have all been really enthusiastic.

"It's a great chance for me to play some more men's football, get some game time and gain some experience as well as hopefully winning some games whilst doing it."
