Back To Back Moors Wins Delight Yates

Solihull Moors boss Mark Yates says the two wins in three days the side have picked up, shows the fight within the group.

A 3-1 home victory against Maidenhead United come just a few days after the victory at Barrow as they moved up to 21st in the Vanarama National League table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I'm delighted with how we came from behind, we have fought back and it is massive to build on the previous win," Yates told the club's website.

"We go a goal down, and it's because we switched off for a second, for the first time in a few weeks we didn't win a ball into our box but we responded well.

"We increased the tempo and got our reward. I see a group of players who are giving everything for the club, they are making every game competitive and deserved this win."

Yates also revealed that they are working on some transfer activity.

"I'd like to think we will have got a deal or two done or nearly done by Thursday to bring more competition to the group."
