It was delight on the road on Tuesday night as the Eliminators kicked off with all three visitors celebrating.

Boreham Wood face Notts County on Sunday after a composed display at rivals Barnet in the opening National League Eliminator.

Lee Ndlovu’s first half double, pictured, sealed their progress at the Hive to leave Luke Garrard thrilled with the 2-1 victory.

“I am so proud of the players and the fans but we now need to work double as hard in the next game - Notts County are the best footballing side there has even been at this level,” he said.

The National League North play-off campaign is off and underway too and Kidderminster Harriers struck very early to defeat Alfreton Town.

They go to King’s Lynn Town this weekend after Amari Morgan Smith’s glancing header 34 seconds in settled the tie.

St Albans City’s prolific Shaun Jeffers won it in extra time at Chelmsford City and they head to Dartford for the National League South semi-final.
