Avenue`s Easter Game Switch

Bradford Park Avenue’s match against Stockport County at Easter has been brought forward a day.

Bradford were due to host Stockport on Saturday, 31st March, but the match will now be played on Good Friday (30th March).

With two matches over the Easter weekend, the clubs have agreed to switch the match, with kick-off remaining at 3pm.

Avenue travel to Chorley on Easter Monday, 2nd April, in the second leg of the Bank Holiday double-header.

Stockport’s visit to the Horsfall Stadium last season saw the largest home crowd of the season for Bradford, with 1,280 through the door as the visitors chased a play-off place in the penultimate match.

Mark Bower’s men lost 2-0, but County only avenged the result from when the two sides met at Edgeley Park earlier in the season as James Knowles’ 95th minute strike gave Avenue a 2-1 victory.
