Pybus originally joined the Bantams on a short-term deal in March but was then awarded a further year’s contract at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
The attack-minded former Sunderland midfielder left the Stadium of Light at the end of the 2017 January transfer window.
He had formerly been a part of the Black Cats' under-23s side last season after an eye-catching campaign for their under-18s the year before.
Playing predominately as a central or attacking midfielder, Pybus netted an impressive 15 goals in twenty-three games for Sunderland's youth team in the 2015/16 campaign.
He was an unused sub in three of Sunderland's four matches in their Checkatrade Trophy campaign last season.
Pybus, who has also been capped at under-16 level for England, will be no stranger to the Horsfall Stadium or Bradford Park Avenue, having played in the Tom Banks Memorial pre-season friendly at the start of the current season.
He will be available to go straight in to the team for the Salford City game tomorrow.
