The 30-year-old returns to the Horsfall Stadium from Guiseley AFC once more, having yo-yoed between the two clubs since first leaving Avenue in 2012.
He already has just short of 100 Bradford appearances in all competitions to his name, scoring 15 goals.
Boshell, the younger brother of Guiseley midfielder and assistant-manager Danny, has spent the last two seasons at Nethermoor.
He scored 8 goals in thirty-five appearances as Mark Bower’s side won promotion to the National League.
And last campaign, Boshell made thirty-one appearances in non-League football’s top flight, netting 4 goals as they defeated the odds to avoid relegation on the final day.
He becomes the second Guiseley player to make the move across West Yorkshire this summer, along with right-back Ryan Toulson.
Boshell is new Avenue boss Alex Meechan’s third new signing of the summer, following Toulson and striker Chris Sharp.
“I’m looking forward to returning,” the forward said. “I really liked what the manager had to say, which made me think I will enjoy playing for him.
“For those who weren’t around for my last spell, I will work hard for the team and I like to get on the ball as much as possible to create and score as many goals as I can.
“It’s a completely new squad going into a very competitive league but if we can get a good team spirit, I’m sure we can surprise a few people.”
