Attendance Table: National League North Standings

By Sam Elliott

We all know big crowds don’t automatically mean prizes, but it’s always interesting to keep tabs on the the size of the gates across the leagues.

It’s always fascinating to see at what speed the turnstiles are clicking with most clubs five home games into the new campaign.

Throughout the season we will be bringing you a rundown of the latest attendances and putting the stats into table form.

Top of the lot are Stockport County - can anyone catch them with over 600 more than watching Jim Gannon’s team than nearest challengers York City or Hereford?

Chorley’s great start has seen a reaction at the gate, with nearly 1,500 at all their home matches so far.

There’s a long way to go of course - and we’ll keep you up-to-speed throughout the season!
