Attendance Table: But Where Does Your Club Chart?

By Sam Elliott

We all know big crowds don’t automatically mean prizes, but it’s always interesting to keep tabs on the the size of the gates across the leagues.

It’s always interesting to see at what speed the turnstiles are clicking with clubs four or five home games into the new campaign.

Throughout the season we will be bringing you a rundown of the latest attendances and putting the stats into table form.

Leading the way at the moment in the Vanarama National League is Wrexham, but despite a poor last four weeks Chesterfield are tracking them down with just 458 less come through the gates.

Leyton Orient’s unbeaten start has been rewarded with an increase on last year’s average crowd, while Salford City’s has also shot up by nearly 1,000 from 2017-18.

Check back next week for all the facts and figures from the National League South and North so far!
