Neil Smith's Bromley are the visitors at Moss Lane on Saturday, fresh off the back of a Kent derby win over Dover Athletic in mid-week.
Macclesfield hosted their first home game on Tuesday that finished in a 1-1 draw against Hartlepool United.
Last season, the Silkmen won 11 games away as opposed to nine at home, and Askey knows if his side is going to improve on their 9th placed finish, then their home form needs to be better.
"They’ve [Bromley] done really well," he told the club's website. "They ended the season in good form and they’re carrying that form on now so it’ll be a tough game, as they all are in this league.
"But if we can carry on doing what we’ve been doing, working as hard, and creating the chances we’ve been creating, we’ve got a good chance."
"They’ve recruited well and they’ve recruited players that have done well at this level. It will be tough because they’re a well organised side, but if we’ve got to do anything we’ve got to be winning our home games."
