Ady Pennock will be in the dugout as their Barrow boss, with the Silkmen looking to potentially go top of the table, writes Tom Feaheny.
"Now they have got Ady in charge I think they will go back to the way they played previously, they will have big lads in the squad and we know what to expect," Askey told the club's website.
"They have some good players, he will get them organised, we know it will be tough, though that doesn't change the way we will play."
Askey said after their break from the league due to their FA Cup game he is pleased with how they have performed so far.
"As a group we are very pleased with how we have started the season to be just a point off top at this stage, puts us in a good position."
