Askey Can't Question Silkmen's Belief

Macclesfield Town's boss John Askey praised the way his side have kept on going in matches as they gained a late equaliser last time around against Tranmere Rovers.

In the 92nd minute Tyrone Marsh was on hand to ensure the Silkmen didn't leave empty handed and moved to three unbeaten in the league, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We earned that, I was disappointed with the goals we gave away, we were hit on the break, we have good players and they believed in themselves to get the point," Askey told the club's website.

They next take on Maidenhead United with Askey wanted that attitude to be used again.

"Last time we didn't drop our head, when there is only one goal in it, you keep going and we got what we deserved with the point.

"The organisation led to their goals, it's something we need to address, we will do that before the next game.

"That being said I am pleased with how we performed and the team deserved that moment at the end and we aim to gain maximum points next time around."
