Tranmere Rovers play-maker Almond moves to Bootham Crescent on a one-year deal.
Almond will be a familiar face to City fans, having scored two `wonder goals` in front of the David Longhurst Stand while on loan at Southport in March, where the Minstermen came out on top in a 5-3 thriller.
Blackburn-born Almond started his career at Blackpool, before taking in several loan spells at Hyde, Barrow AFC and Lincoln City before signing permanent terms at Southport in 2015.
One season with the Sandgrounders led to a move to Prenton Park at the start of last season, before going back to Haig Avenue for the second part of the campaign.
Parslow has signed a one-year permanent contract with the club upon completion of his current deal with Cheltenham Town.
Parslow re-joined City on loan from Cheltenham last season having already spent nine seasons with the Minstermen following his arrival from Cardiff City back in 2005.
He is steadily climbing the club's all-time appearance list as well, having pulled on the red and blue of City more than 350 times in his career to date.
Morgan-Smith has signed for the Minstermen on a permanent basis, penning a one-year deal upon expiration of his contract at Cheltenham Town.
Morgan-Smith signed for City on loan part-way through last season from the Robins, and made an immediate impact as a striker and a winger, scoring 6 goals in the process.
While he has experience as high in the divisions as League One, Morgan-Smith also has a season in the sixth tier under his belt, scoring 18 times in a prolific season at Ilkeston Town in the 2009/10 season.
He has also taken in spells at Luton Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Macclesfield Town and Oldham Athletic before moving to Cheltenham, where he was a key member of their promotion-winning side from the National League two seasons ago.
He was also a member of City's Buildbase FA Trophy-winning squad at Wembley in May.
