Another Birmingham Player Joins Moors On Loan

Solihull Moors have signed forward Wes McDonald on a month`s loan from SkyBet Championship neighbours Birmingham City.

The short-term deal for the 20-year-old will help bolster attacking options for Liam McDonald’s injury-hit squad.

London-born McDonald topped Blues under-23s goalscoring charts last season with 10 goals from twenty-four starts.

The ex-Fulham starlet will now come into contention for tomorrow’s trip to Bromley.

Liam McDonald said: “We’re once again grateful to Birmingham City for allowing us to have Wes on a short-term loan. As our supporters will know, we’re struggling with injuries at the moment and as a result that has left us light attacking wise.

“Wes will give us something extra and will help the squad over the next month”.
