Allinson Wants His Saints To Bring Out Their Ruthless Side

Ian Allinson has called on his St Albans side to be more ruthless or pay the price.

The Saints went down 2-1 at Truro City last night thanks to a late goal from Louis Rooney despite going in front.

Allinson admitted after the game that if his side been more clinical with their chances, it would've been an entirely different result.

"We created two or three chances in the period when it was 1-1 and if we'd been more clinical, we'd have gone on and won the game," he told the club's YouTube channel.

"But we didn't do that and unfortunately, we paid for it. The minimum we deserved was a draw.

"We have to be a little bit more selfish. Any forward that's got an opportunity to score a goal has to take it.

"At Dartford [this Saturday], we have to make sure we take our chances because if we don't, we'll be feeling sorry for ourselves like we are today."
